In just a few weeks, SeaWorld Spooktakular will begin! Enjoy it on weekends September 21- October 27. This event is included with regular park admission, so the value is outstanding. I’ve been going to this event for the past several years and I LOVE it! I don’t even have little kids to bring with me. This is a wonderful event for all ages.

They have trick or treating around the park. You can either bring your own treat bag, or purchase one at the park starting at just $.99. What could be better than seeing and learning about animals while you trick-or-treat?!

You had me at “Mermaid Grotto.” It’s an “underwater” environment with floating bubbles and sea-themed characters, where you can even meet a mermaid!

There are all kinds of family friendly characters to meet and interact with! I’ve met catfish, dogfish, a hammerhead shark……….

Don’t miss out on the Pet’s Ahoy Halloween show! Get there early because this show always fills up. It’s the best animal show around! They use encouragement-based training and rescue animals!

You’ll also want to check out the Halloween Dance Party! Children, and the young at heart, will join undersea friends where they can participate in line-dancing favorites under clouds of bubbles!

Feeling extra Halloween-y? All guests can dress in costume! You don’t even have to be a sea creature! Kids 12 and under are the only ones allowed masks, 13 and older are excluded from masks and hoods. Face painting is excluded unless it is done by park artists, and they are amazing!

I go to this event several times a year. If you’re looking for a great time in a fantastic park, without the extra event fee, SeaWorld Spooktakular is for you! Going with or without kids, you’ll be sure to have so much fun it’s scary!
