Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is an Italian Lady and the Tramp themed eatery on Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll find it right next to the Town Square Theater.

I went recently with a few friends from Georgia for the first time. I found it to be charming. There didn’t seem to be any music playing so the chatter of the diners was quite loud. The dining area is split into two areas. One is a bright area near the large front windows, the other just behind it. That’s where we sat, near the fountain of Lady and the Tramp. Who were outfitted for the holidays!

We started off with the calamari with spicy pickles and herb aioli. Sorry, we dug in and I forgot to take a picture. I will say it was really good. I will also say that the aioli didn’t seem spicy and I didn’t taste pickle. Believe me, I would have because I abhor pickles.

One member of our party had Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. The name tells you exactly what’s in this dish. He enjoyed it and it looked delicious.

Two of our party had the Chicken Parmigiana. This is a lightly-breaded chicken breast with provolone, Tony’s marinara sauce, over freshly made spaghetti and local vegetables. I had a bite of this and thought it was good.

I had the House-Made Gnocchi Primavera with Grilled Chicken Breast, as well as one other person in the party. This is potato gnocchi with garden vegetables, sun-dried tomato pesto, and Romano cheese. It was very tasty and the vegetables were delicious. I will have to say though, my son makes home-made gnocchi and I have yet to find a restaurant gnocchi to match. Although the other person who had this said it was the best meal she’d had during her visit to the resort that entire week.

Overall I’d consider eating here again. But I think I’d try to go when maybe it’s not so busy so the place won’t be so loud. It’s better to get a reservation, but walk-ups are taken when tables are available.

I should let you know that the restrooms for this restaurant are very, very small. The ladies has three stalls, and I’m told the men’s has one stall and one urinal. Definitely go before you enter the restaurant.
