Greetings! You may or may not have noticed that the posts about, and visits to, theme parks has slowed way down. So, what’s up with Mo?

Theme Park MoJu originally started with two people, Monique (that’s me), and Julius. He’s not much of a contributor anymore, but the name remains the same. Yep, that’s how I came up with the name! But yeah, I do this all on my own.

If you know me personally, then you know my long history of painful health issues. The short of the long is that I have bone-on-bone arthritis in my knees and some in my back. I’ve got other back issues, but that’s a loooong list.

I’ve been working from home for a year due to the struggle to walk. I have rented wheelchairs to get around the parks, but that gets pretty pricey. I’m in 24/7 pain, so the ability to get around the parks has been extremely minimal. Honestly, I have a difficult time in my own home. I need to have both my knees replaced, but that is crazy expensive and I’m busy saving up for it.

I’m telling you all this because I want to let you know that I am having anxiety about not being able to go to my beloved parks. For my own mental health and well-being, and because I have this magnificent social media account to maintain. It’s been a true struggle for me.

I know I haven’t been giving you much to work with lately. I need you all to know that I really, really appreciate you sticking by and supporting me. I am thankful for every like, share, and comment! It helps my Theme Park MoJu dream to grow! Thank you so much.
