Updated Mask Policies – Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld

The parks have been open for a bit now. Universal was first, then SeaWorld, and finally Disney. They all put safety guidelines in place. Those guidelines are to keep everyone safe and to ensure they can remain open. I’ve been to all three parks and have seen many, many people trying to skirt the face covering rule by carrying food or drink while they walk without their mask on. The parks have also taken notice. Now they are updating their policies to stop it from happening.

When you’re in a park, only remove your mask if your food has been served at a sit down restaurant. Not once you walk in. Make sure you’re also wearing it if you walk to the restroom. Be courteous to your servers. If you’re snacking, pull over away from others to eat. Don’t walk with your food or drink with your mask off. It’s really not that difficult.

Each of the parks has zones where you can take off your mask, staying socially distanced from others, if you need a break.

Here are the updated rules from Disney.

Universal Orlando’s updated mask rules are below.

I haven’t seen an update to SeaWorld’s mask policy yet. It’s pretty brief. I hope they trend like the other parks. Here is what they have.

Please follow the rules. Wear an appropriate mask and keep it on your face. You should now know when you are allowed to remove it. Wash your hands often. Use hand sanitizer. Don’t touch your face. Try not to put your hands on things in the parks. If we all follow the rules, the parks will hopefully stay open.
