The Golden Girls 35th Anniversary

A super huge bummer about Disney’s Hollywood Studios losing the Backlot Tour of it’s glory days was no longer tramming past the front of the Golden Girls’ house. Not having a bunch of really awesome merch in the parks is a complete failure, if you ask me. The show has always been popular. I watched it, so my kids always watched it. We all love it. I don’t know anyone who’s seen it who doesn’t love it. That means Disney is really losing out with not having a presence in the parks that they could be cashing in on.

But I think they do see at least a little way of cashing in. They have merchandise on the ABC Store website. And they’ve just added some Golden Girls 35th Anniversary merchandise!

I’ve previously posted about Disney x Cakeworthy collaborations. Now they’ve joined up for The Golden Girls! I love that Cakeworthy markets each of their items to anyone. Literally no gender requirements for anything. They’ve got your park attire covered from a romper to a windbreaker. The Cheesecake dress. No other words needed.

Looking for something a little different to carry your essentials in? Whether you’re going to the park or a library, take the Girls with you.

Fall is a nice time to redecorate. I’m pretty sure at least the posters are something everyone needs. The blanket and pillow are just right for autumn weather, and with a Shady Pines glass for wine, it’s perfect.

They have also got a couple of things to entertain yourself when you’re not watching The Golden Girls. I have to brag that I am the proud owner of The Golden Girls Clue. Instead of a murder, you’re trying to figure out who at the cheesecake. The premium playing cards will make any game better, honestly.

While I adore all of the Golden Girls, Dorothy is my favorite. We share a sarcasm bond. Who is your favorite?
