Unless you’ve been under a rock, you probably saw this coming. Universal Orlando is going to be testing some Halloween experiences this weekend, September 19-20. Although I’m not sure why they are testing them, fans are going to show up in droves. Halloween is what they do best.
They’ll have two houses available all day with regular admission.
Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives

“We belong dead.” The last words of Frankenstein’s monster on that fateful night when his Bride rejected him. But his end was her beginning. Now the Bride is stepping out of the shadows to bring him back. And there’s nothing she won’t do as she sharpens her brilliance by experimenting on unsuspecting victims. The mate will have her monster. And the monster his mate.”
Universal Studios- Revenge of the Tooth Fairy

“The innocent traditions of the tooth fairy hide a darker ritual. All children must give up their baby teeth to the goblinesque tooth fairies or pay a gruesome price. Step into an old manor that has been overrun by yellow-clawed fiends who extract teeth by force. It’s an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”
For kids 12 and under, there will be trick-or-treating at Islands of Adventure. Pumpkin stickers will be on store windows where candy is being passed out. Kids must be with an adult, one treat bag per guest, and one fill per location.

You are encouraged to dress in costume, with a few rules. No costume masks are allowed.

And of course there is the HHN Tribute Store. Get all the great Halloween Horror Nights stuff you can lay your hands on. It’s the best store in the parks. Too bad it’s not there year-round.

You can make a badass Frankenstein Monster out of wax.
There is a preview for Team Members and Premier Annual Passholders on September 18. The APs can sign up on Wednesday the 16th at noon. I’m not sure how this will be delivered, either by email or a link on the AP Facebook page. I think it’s going to be a fight to the death to get a reservation.
If you’re a Florida resident, you can still get in on this ticket deal and get the parks for the rest of the year.
Remember kids, this is a HORROR event. Don’t bring your children if they are under 13 and prone to be afraid. They post signs and notifications on-line that this event is intense . And yet people ignore it all and then complain at Guest Services. Don’t be that person.
