New this year is Universal Orlando Resort’s Scarecrow Stalk scavenger hunt. It’s like the Christmas Tree one they’ve done during the holiday season with a Halloween twist. You will stalk around Universal Studios hunting for 13 scarecrows and skeletons. You’ll collect stamps on your pamphlet at each merchandise location. Once you have them all, you’ll receive a trick-or-treat candy sampler bag that you’ll collect from either San Francisco Candy Factory or Studio Sweets. Your completed stamps will also get you 30% off a bulk candy purchase at the candy stores.

You can pick up a pamphlet at any of the locations with a scarecrow or skeleton.

I did the Scarecrow Stalk over two days. I had the Premier Passholder testing event for the haunted houses on Friday. I wasn’t able to arrive until after work so I did all but two of the stores while I was waiting on my time to test the houses. I went back the next morning to finish and collect my prize. It’s no trouble at all to find them all in a short period of time.

Each of the scarecrows and skeletons are works of art. I really hope you take the time to really look at them and enjoy them rather than just rushing from one to the next.

The Scarecrow Stalk scavenger hunt is from September 18 through November 1. You can participate during normal operating park hours. Guests must be present to collect stamps, so you can’t walk in with one person and 5 pamphlets to get stamps. You must collect all 13 stamps to redeem for the candy sampler prize. You must redeem by November 1.

I really enjoyed this scavenger hunt and all the scarecrows and skeletons. I think my favorite is a toss-up between SpongeBob StorePants and Rosie’s Irish Shop. Which is your favorite?
