October 31 At Universal Studios – Halloween Fun!

I spent the day at Universal Studios Orlando and had a blast! They opened a third haunted house today, the one I was looking forward to, Beetlejuice! I was lucky enough to experience it.

It was available via virtual queue that dropped at 7:45 AM. I was told by a manager that they were gone in one minute. I didn’t get one and was pretty heartbroken. But a friend met me at the park and we walked back to see the entrance. We came at exactly the right time because there was a manager who asked if we had gotten a VQ. When we responded that we hadn’t, he said we were #15 and could go in! It was the best kind of Halloween magic!

I loved the house! It was a lot of fun and most of the elements from the movie I was hoping for were in it. When Halloween Horror Nights rolls around next year, I’m going to look forward to seeing the house again.

Universal allowed guests of all ages to come to the park in costumes. I had a great time checking them out. Here are my favorites!

There were many Beetlejuice costumes, but I loved this couple’s version!

There were lots of Hogwarts students and a few Beauxbatons, which made my witch heart happy. I found a couple of teachers, too.

There were so many families and groups of people in costumes that shared a theme, and lots who were all different. It was great to see how much fun everyone was having.

Sandy Cheeks was pretty awesome! One of my daughters was DoodleBob and I wish they could have met.

It’s pretty amazing when you find someone who basically IS Halloween Horror Nights.

On my way out of the park I came upon these girls who just looked like they were all about fun!

Were you there today? How was your experience? Tell me all about it in the comments!
