SeaWorld Orlando has my favorite Christmas event. It’s included with regular admission and they do a fabulous job of bringing the holiday to you! I mean it, it’s truly spectacular. It’s totally worth it just to see over 3 million Christmas lights in the park. They’ve got some new things this year! The event is November 14 through December 31.

I’m going to begin with the add-on experiences because I’m kind of freaking out about the first one. Although with my current physical condition I won’t be able to participate, I really, really wish I could because I haven’t done it in so long.

Ice Skating At Bayside Stadium

You can experience outdoor ice skating at Bayside Stadium! An additional charge is required which includes skate rental. You will be required to wear gloves and crew length socks. But don’t worry, if you forget them at home they will have them available for purchase. To provide physical distancing, this is a limited capacity event and will be first come, first serve. The cost and pre-purchase isn’t on the site, so I believe you will need to find this out in-park.

Sesame Street Christmas Breakfast

A fun-filled holiday Christmas feast! Your favorite characters will join you for a physically distanced good time. It’s $32.99 for adults and $16.99 for ages 3-9.

Dinner with Santa

Enjoy a festive dinner with Santa! You and your family can take a physically distanced photo with the jolly man himself! Adult dinners are $45, or you can get a dinner with a drink package for $60. Ages 3-9 are $20.

Happy Holidays From Sesame Street Land

This is new this year and I’m pretty excited about it! They’ll be celebrating Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanzaa. Sesame Street characters will be singing and dancing to their favorite holiday songs.

It’s A Wonderful Night: A New Story To Tell

This is also new, and is replacing O’ Wondrous Night. Which I know some people are going to be pretty upset about, but I’m willing to give it a chance. They’ll be bringing over 30 Christmas carols to the stage with clever surprises and lighthearted laughs. It will be in the Nautilus Theater with physical distancing and limited capacity.

They have this listed as “new,” but you’ve been able to do this in the past. I think the newness of it is that you’ll get to sit in the sleigh with Santa where he’s behind and above you behind plexiglass. He’ll be in Wild Arctic in an expansive family room.

This has been my favorite part! Rudolph’s ChristmasTown where you walk through the story and get to meet the characters, including my favorite the Bumble!

Winter Wonderland On Ice

After Rudolph’s ChristmasTown, this is my second favorite. This show is really awesome! It’s an ice skating extravaganza with lights and fountains and trees on the lagoon. It’s so much fun!

Sea of Trees

Speaking of trees, there is a sea of trees on the lagoon that have lights that dance to music. If you haven’t seen it before, it’s truly a sight to behold. Very beautiful and it really gets you into the spirit of the holidays.

Rudolph’s Movie Experience

You can watch a 10 minute Rudolph movie experience in the Sea Port Theater. This is nice if you happen to be dining, but you can also just go in to see it.

I like to eat. Especially when it comes to samplers at SeaWorld because they get it right. They’re always delicious and good sized. Well worth the money. And guess what? If you have leftover punches from your Seven Seas Food & Beverage sampler, you can use them at select locations! Food and drinks can be purchased a la carte.

The Christmas Market will be open on select dates. I didn’t see them listed yet, but I’m thinking it will be weekends at first, then more often when we get closer to Christmas. I can’t recommend going to SeaWorld during the holidays more. It’s really the best event out there. Even though I do love Christmas at Disney World and Universal, too.
