Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition 2020 at Disney’s Epcot

I haven’t ever done a paid Disney scavenger hunt, but this year has sucked so I decided to give it a go. I was alone and it really was a lot of fun!

You get a map for $7.99. Each sticker is placed on the map as you find Olaf in the respective countries and two other places. When you’re finished you redeem it for a prize available through December 31.

You go through the World Showcase searching for Olaf and the traditions he’s found. The map has brief explanations of the traditions. I saw a ton of other people doing the expedition when I did it. Lots of families, but also a huge amount of childless adults. Go us!

The Olafs are placed high and low. A couple of them were hidden really well and not where you’d think they were. I’m looking at you, Italy! They are all really cute and match the stickers.

When you’ve completed the expedition, they will stamp the middle of your map and give you the prize of your choice. Redemption locations are at Disney Traders, Mouse Gear, and World Traveler at International Gateway.

They have plastic Frozen tumblers as prizes in three designs. They are also offering the prize from a scavenger hunt from the past, the Food & Wine water bottles. I opted for the Figment bottle because I don’t have room in my cabinets for more plastic tumblers. And I love Figment.

Have you done a paid Disney scavenger hunt? Which one? What was your experience like?
