I was hanging out at Universal Orlando yesterday and saw lots of preparation going on for Mardi Gras. This year is going to be different than years past due to the pandemic that’s still raging.

As a former Universal Team Member, it was rather strange to be walking around Universal Studios and seeing booths all over the park. Usually there is a section in New York that is set up for Mardi Gras and that’s the only place you’d see the booths.

The Music Plaza Stage and lawn are very festive.

The Mardi Gras Tribute Store is in New York in the same location that all past holiday tribute stores have been. I’ll be there as soon as I can to show you the inside of the store. I hope they continue this tradition because I love it.

Their food booths are nearing readiness. I am digging the different styles and decorations.

Then we’ve got these light towers in different areas of the park.

Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Caranval will be running daily February 6 through March 28. Just by seeing what they’ve set up so far, I can’t wait to go back in a week to experience it! Check out the menus and details here!
