The Walt Disney World Resort will be 50 years old on October 1, 2021 and the celebration is going to be magical. New details were released this morning on some of the looks the parks, and Mickey and Minnie, will have for this special anniversary. Shimmering EARidescent décor will be found at each of the four parks.

At Magic Kingdom, Cinderella’s Castle has already received a new paint job. Expect to see gold bunting and a 50th Anniversary crest adorning the castle.

Epcot recently unveiled a new fountain at the entrance. From the artist’s rendering, it looks like the famous Epcot ball will get new lighting.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror looks like it’s going to be getting a little more colorful for the anniversary.

An illuminated Tree of Life is always something to behold. The colors in this rendering match each of the other parks.

I can get on board with these new Mickey and Minnie 5oth Anniversary costumes! I love the colors and styles. I hope we will be able to have photo opps with them, even if they are socially distanced. I also hope there are matching Minnie ears to purchase!
