I love a good scavenger hunt, especially when it’s in a theme park. Epcot has some really fun ones for their festivals, and Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration is enjoyable. It’s $7.99 and discounts apply.
You’ll go hunting for Spike the Bee using the garden names on the card. They’re mostly in order, but there is one that isn’t. I was between France and the UK looking around absolutely bewildered. I thought I was losing my mind until I confirmed it with a Cast Member. I didn’t want to spend too much time looking for a garden that I couldn’t find. People will talk, you know.

There are stickers on the back of the card with plants on them. When you get to the garden, you see which sticker matches where Spike is hiding out.

Then place that sticker on the front over the garden. So, say you can’t find that one garden that is out of place on the board. When it’s the last sticker, you’ll know where it goes.

Once you’ve completed the scavenger hunt you can take your card to Mouse Gear, Disney Traders, or World Traveler to redeem it.
There they will stamp it as complete and give you a choice of four sets of plates. Yes, I said set of plates. Not one, but two. Two Disney plates for the $7.99 you paid for the scavenger hunt, or less if you have a discount. Not a bad deal!

I happen to have a thing about collecting Disney stuff. I have lots of plates that are used daily in my kitchen. Because of this addiction, I bought myself four scavenger hunt cards so I could collect all of the plates. Don’t judge me, I know I’m not the only one. Unless I am.
I do the scavenger hunts alone because I’m usually solo in the parks. But I see lots of families and groups of friends doing them together. It’s a great way to spend some of your time while you’re enjoying the Flower and Garden Festival.
Are you going to do Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration? Just once, or twice? Or three of four times?
