Earth Day is on April 22 and Disney has announced today that their Disney classic dolls will be in eco-friendly plastic-free packaging. The packaging is made of sustainably sourced paper that is 100% recyclable. The packaging can be recycled or reused. I’m all about it!

The collection includes fifteen classic characters. The line of classic dolls will come in new plastic-free packaging available on shopDisney.com, Walt Disney World Resort, and Disney stores in North America, and coming soon to Disneyland Resort. It will become available at global locations later this year.

I think this is a step in the right direction to help the environment. I hope they continue to go in this direction and move away from plastic packaging altogether. And I hope this inspires other parks and businesses to do the same.
