Viva La Música at SeaWorld Orlando

Viva La Música is happening now at SeaWorld Orlando. The event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays May 15-23 from noon until park close. I was there yesterday to see what this festival had to offer.

Most of the event happenings are tucked away behind Bayside Stadium at the Sea Harbor Pavilions. To get there from inside the park, you’ll need to go back over to the Wild Arctic area and follow the signs. There are two booths between Sesame Street and Wild Arctic, but most of the food, drinks, and entertainment are in the pavilions.

There’s a whole lot of deliciousness going on here. SeaWorld rocks when it comes to food and drink festivals. Don’t know about them? Check out the Seven Seas Food Festival, the Christmas Celebration, and the Craft Beer Festival!

Here are the food and drink menus:

I think because most of the offerings are in an area that is off the beaten path, there wasn’t much traffic. It’s worth it to get back there, though. There are two large covered seating areas to enjoy your food and drinks.

You can make a maraca at the Kids Craft station. There weren’t any kids around, so my friend and I made them! The ambassadors who were running the station were a lot of fun!

There was an artist painting a large mural. I feel bad now, but I didn’t ask for his name.

At Wild Arctic plaza, there is live music and a DJ. Over in the pavilion, there is another DJ and live music. You will also see dancers there. There were several people joining in! They have a bunch of tables in the pavilion with dominoes you can play with your friends and family.

The site billed Rosita from Sesame Street as “Follow along, kids! Learn a simple dance step to festive Latin music, and then get a physically distanced photo with Rosita to remember the fun.” I stopped to see her and it was just a minute or two of singing and dancing, then photo opps. Look for her in Sesame Street between the restroom and Elmo’s Choo Choo Train.

The highlights of my day were chatting with the ambassadors while making maracas and my frozen strawberry hibiscus drink. You have one more weekend to go have some fun at this festival!
