Jurassic World Tribute Store at Universal Orlando

I was super excited to go check out the new Jurassic World Tribute Store at Universal Studios yesterday, and I was not disappointed. Once again, they have outdone themselves. I have loved dinosaurs since I was a tiny kid, and I was all giddy walking through the archway over the front door.

As soon as you enter you are immersed in the movies. I spent quite a lot of time just looking at all of the props and decor. Some of them are real props from the movies! I point them out in the video below. You’re going to feel like you’re really there.

You’re at inGen in the first room. The computer desk you’ll see on the right is where you can create things like phone cases.

The second room has raptors! You feel like you’re outside of the paddocks being stalked. Super fun photo ops to be had here.

To get to the next room, you’re going down a hallway. Watch out for high voltage!

Next you are in the inGen laboratory which is being taken over by nature. The ceiling is broken out and there’s a thunderstorm going on.

Once you’ve made it out of the lab, you’re in friendlier territory. This last room is where you’re going to find out about what they feed the dinosaurs.

This room is also where you’ll find the snacks for humans. While I was there I was told that they have not received the Dino Chow yet, but it is something with mixed nuts in a collectible container. I’m looking forward to that! They were sold out of the VelocCoaster Marshmallow Pop, Jurassic World Whoopie Pie, and VelociCoaster Cupcake. I was there mid-day, so I guess you’ll have to get there early if you want the biggest selection. The Amber Gummy is pineapple and the mosquitos inside are not real, much to my disappointment, and are candy. The Blue Camo Fudge is blue raspberry. I think I was told the Lava Flow Fudge is chocolate and raspberry, but I don’t recall for sure. The Chocolate Eggs come in three different colors, based on the splatter on them, and have a chocolate dinosaur inside. I’ll either need to get one of them on my way out of the park, or split it with people while I’m there. They are really big and it’s hot AF in Orlando right now so it will melt if you’re trying to walk around the park with it. I tried the Pistachio Egg with Chocolate Medallion. It was messy, but very good. I can’t wait to try more dinosaur treats!

I was at the Jurassic World Tribute Store on June 5 and they had these snacks available that weren’t there when I originally went. I had a whoopie pie and cupcake. Both were sweet, but really good!

In two rooms of the store, you’ll be able to pay $6 to get a wax dinosaur souvenir. I love these wax machines! They really take me back to my childhood. It’s pretty neat that you can watch your souvenir being made.

This is the Facebook live video I did while walking through the store.

If you’re paying attention in the inGen Lab, and you should be or you may be eaten, you’ll see the shadow of a Tyrannosaurus Rex during the lightning. 🦖 Don’t move!
