Amazing HHN 30 Desserts by Yaritza Rivera

Halloween Horror Nights is mainly known for its scares. And those scares can make you pretty hungry. Universal has been coming up with more delicious food the past few years. We’ve come to expect more options and more creativity when we step up to order.

You may have noticed that the desserts have been pretty damn amazing. A huge reason for that is Yaritza Rivera. She’s been the creator of some of the spooky and delicious treats you’ll find at HHN. Those to-die-for vegan skull brownies? They’re hers. And she had to fight to get them in the case line, and I’m forever grateful she did. They’re my absolute favorite!

I used to work with Yaritza in merchandise in the New York/San Francisco area and I’m proud to call her a friend. She’s a wonderful and genuine human being. She is full of sass and attitude and humor and brilliance. All of this comes through in her creative desserts. She has studied Baking & Pastry Arts Management at Valencia College here in Orlando, Florida. She has worked at Universal Orlando for six years. They are lucky to have her!

Ahhhh, my favorite Vegan Skull Brownies! Honestly, if you haven’t had one, you need to get one. They are a fan favorite and sell really well. They’ll be in the HHN Tribute Store.

It has been my pleasure to introduce you to Yaritza. Please let me know if you try her marvelous Halloween Horror Nights desserts and what you think of them. Your photos are encouraged!
