This past weekend I scored boarding group 5 for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the newly expanded France pavilion at Epcot. By the way, it took 12 minutes of hustling as fast as I could with my walker to get back there. Just in case you’re wondering when you get those first few numbers. At that time, it was a walk-on and when I came out the line for the counter at Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris wasn’t too long. I decided to give the restaurant a look.
The La Crêperie de Paris sit-down restaurant didn’t look too busy that early in the morning. They have someone at the door taking names and putting you on a list of available times for your party size. I was put on for 10:20 and was told to return at that time. When I came back, I waited just to the side of the restaurant for my name to be called. It was just a couple of minutes.
The restaurant is quite small and cozy. I was sitting a little further to the back, but still in the middle. The photos are from my table looking left and right.

There were so many delicious sounding galettes and crêpes on the menu I had a hard time deciding. I went with the prix fix menu and had the Soupe du Jour (potato leek), the Savoyarde galette, the Poire crêpe, and apple juice. I did ask about the vinaigrette on the Salade Maison and was told it had mustard in it. While it sounded tempting, I still went with the soup.
What is a galette, you may ask? Galettes are savory crêpes made with buckwheat flour. They are made with specially imported buckwheat flour imported from the Brittany, France. They are gluten friendly according to the menu.
With the prix fix, you will see that you have a choice of a glass of hard cider, soda, or juice. There are several listed on the menu, but not are available for it.

If you think that sounds like a lot of food, it is. I was totally stuffed and couldn’t entirely finish my crêpe. If you’re a somewhat light eater like I am, you can share this with a friend.

The service was nice, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed it quite a lot. I will definitely drop by again.
