Dolly Parton shall henceforth be known as Saint Dolly. Honestly, this woman is so wonderful, kind, and giving. Dollywood announced this week that they will be paying 100% of all employees education, including fees and textbooks.

Beginning February 24, all seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees will be able to enroll in the program. And they can enroll on their first day of employment!

President of Dollywood Company Eugene Naughton said, “One of The Dollywood Foundation’s key tenets is to ‘learn more.’ This program is created with that very tenet in mind. We want our hosts to develop themselves through advanced learning to fulfill the foundation’s other tenets: care more, dream more, and be more.” He continued, “When our hosts strive to grow themselves, it makes our business and our community a truly better place,” Naughton said. “We care about our hosts’ development and we want their future to grow because of love—not loans.” I couldn’t agree more. There’s far too much student loan debt in our country.

Dolly Parton has given away over 174 million free books to children age 0-5 through her Imagination Library since 1995. That’s a lot of books!
