SeaWorld Spooktacular 2022

Are you looking for a fun and affordable Halloween experience to share with your kids? SeaWorld Spooktacular is definitely where you need to go! It’s a great park-wide event that is included with park admission. I’ve been going for years, and my kids are all grown. Don’t think you need to have little ones to enjoy this family friendly event!

The SeaWorld Spooktacular runs September 17 through October 31 on select days.

Saturdays & Sundays
Sept. 17 – Oct. 2
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
Oct. 7 – Oct. 30
Halloween, Oct. 31

There is a Trick-or-Treat Trail where an assortment of candy is handed out. This is a lot of fun for the little ones.

Participation for the Trick-or-Treat Trail requires the purchase of a reusable treat bag. These can usually be found in several locations in the park. You’ll want to get one early because they sometimes sell out. Several designs are offered each year.

All guests are permitted to wear costumes. Guests who are 13 and older, however, are not permitted to wear costume masks or hoods. You may only have your face painted if it’s done by a park artist. Costumes must still adhere to the park dress code. I’ve seen some really great costumes while attending the event.

There is a kid-friendly Halloween Dance Party with characters! Entertainment at SeaWorld is fantastic and their dance parties always get the guests hyped.

Visit the Pumpkin Garden to see fish pumpkins and other Halloween sights. You may even see a Pumpkin Princess reading stories in the garden!

While you’re on the Trick-or-Treat Trail, you can Meet a Mermaid! She’s always quite popular and is happy to take photos with you.

Over in Sesame Street Land the Halloween fun continues. At various times you can join Count von Count and his furry friends for family-friendly Halloween celebrations. You’ll want to catch the not-too-spooky Sesame Street Halloween Parade! Be sure to arrive on the Street early for a good spot. The parades are wildly popular.

I don’t know a kid who doesn’t like to be read a story. Stop by the nest for Storytime with Big Bird! Stories will be read throughout the day.

Start your Spooktacular day off right at Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast. Adults are $34.99 and kids ages 3-9 are $18.99. Breakfast is at 9 am in the Seafire Grill, but you’ll need to be there at least 15 minutes early. I have done a Sesame Street breakfast with adult friends and it was quite a lot of fun!

I hope you’ll head over to SeaWorld Orlando for the Halloween Spooktacular. It truly is a wonderful event for all ages. I’ve had a great time every single time I’ve gone.
