Where can you enjoy a premium vacation experience with a Nickelodeon twist? At the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya in Mexico. The resort is located just 17 miles south of Cancun Airport. And guess what? They will transport you to and from the airport. This resort looks like a ton of fun! Let’s take a look at everything they have to offer.
I’ll start out with the suites. Many of them look pretty much the same, but I’m going to go ahead and give the photos for each as well as their descriptions. Location is the difference for some of the room types. Nick-ified suites are designed for families of five (including two bathrooms!) and feature swim-up pools or balcony pools with incredible views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. All I have to say is LOOK at that furniture and the decor! Wow!
You can note that if you’re staying in a signature suite, they feature oversized terraces, private infinity plunge pools, butler service, private transfers, a character photoshoot and more.
The Lair Suite
If the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are your thing, then this is a perfect suite. It’s like your own “subterranean lair.”

Nickelodeon Place is located steps from the main lobby and is where you will find Nick Bistro, Club Nick, and Plaza Orange.
Nick Bistro
Open for Breakfast and Lunch. Featuring easy, family-friendly food selections this sit-down dining venue also serves as the character dining center for the resort. It’s also listed as a dining location for Aqua Nick.
Club Nick
Part clubhouse, part artist’s studio, Club Nick is our hub for free play as well as more structured family activities. You’ll find a mega ball pit, a two-story slide, a daily schedule of themed activities based on Nickelodeon™ characters, and a whole lot of do-it-yourself Nickelodeon fun, from arts-and-craft classes and science experiments to cooking sessions and mini theater performances. Look out for surprise visits from your favorite Nickelodeon™ friends!
Plaza Orange – Main Stage
The main evening entertainment venue is located at Nickelodeon™ Place. Here, guests of all ages will enjoy a weekly array of shows and performances inspired by some of Nickelodeon’s most famous game shows.
You will be able to meet tons of awesome Nickelodeon characters! Meet Blue, Butterbean, Shimmer and Shine, Dora, Diego, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob and more fan faves. At Character Spot, meet SpongeBob SquarePants to Blue to Dora to Wanda and Cosmo. There are also character pop-ups, so keep your camera handy. And don’t forget about character dining!
Now let’s talk about Aqua Nick. Aqua Nick is a sprawling six-acre Nickelodeon themed water park , home to over 500 meters of adventure and lazy rivers, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Guests can find activities, entertainment, or pure relaxation that will keep them smiling all day long. The park features interactive bracelets that you can load with funds to cover any transactions throughout your stay. A super perk to staying at the resort is that guests of Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya enjoy complimentary unlimited access to Aqua Nick including exclusive early access during their stay. AQUA BITE – URBAN EATS
Aqua Bite are casual, al fresco venues where guests can grab urban food favorites for lunch, snacks or even treats without leaving or sacrificing the view and action of Aqua Nick. There are four venues serving favourites including pizzas, hamburgers, hot dogs, and poke bowls.
Cabanas are available for rent in various clusters around Aqua Nick for those in search of an elevated experience.

Aside from the dining already mentioned, there are some Nickelodeon themed restaurants you’ll want to check out. You can try a little of this or a lot of that at one of the 6 restaurants or in your suite with our 24-hour room service, because it’s all included. Apparently at arrival you’ll get sparkling wine for the adults and Slime Smoothies for kids. That’s a nice way to start your vacation!
