Guests that are familiar with theme parks know that you may sometimes have the opportunity to see things like commercials, television shows and specials, or even movies being shot in the parks. And sometimes you have the ability to participate and be seen in photos or on film.
Dinosaur World Florida is inviting guests to the park on Sunday, January 26 for just such an opportunity. They’re calling it Production Day. It looks like they would like guests to do what they’d normally do when visiting the prehistoric park.
“Join us as we film in select locations for some exciting upcoming commercials and projects. Just show up, jump in, and be part of the fun!”
I love this park and I go every chance I get. They offer annual passes that are $49.95-$59.95 based on your age bracket. They’re worth every penny! Single-day tickets are $19l95-$24.95. If you plan on visiting the park more than once in a year, the annual pass is the way to go. And believe me, if you love dinosaurs you’ll want to. Their holiday events are amazing. A pass or day ticket will get you into the fun for Production Day.
There is a schedule for the day’s happenings. It kicks off at 11:30 AM, with the final time at 3:00 PM.

A few of the locations for the shoots are experiences offered at an additional cost. The Dino-Express train ride is $5 per person.
Aunt Cera’s Fossil Dig is $3.

Uncle Rex’s Gem Mine ranges from $11 to $129.

Exploration Cave is where you can meet real paleontologists. They’re very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.
Doom of the Dinosaurs is an indoor exhibit of a collection from paleontologist John Hankla. It’s wonderful and you will be amazed at the tyrannosaurus rex!

There is an additional indoor exhibit with a few animatronic dinosaurs and fossils. It’s very interesting.
You can order tickets online or buy them when you arrive. Parking is free and it’s a dog friendly park. Be sure to keep your well-behaved friends on a leash. They’re at 5145 Harvey Tew Rd. in Plant City.
