Disney previously announced that the Muppet Courtyard area of Disney Hollywood Studios would become a Monsters, Inc. land. We now have permanent closure dates for three parts of the land.

If you want to see these things before they close, now is the time to make your plans.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will last serve guests on May 10, 2025.

Muppet*Vision 3D will have a final operating date of June 7, 2025.

PizzeRizzo will have the same date as Muppet*Vision 3D, June 7, 2025.

If you’ve spent anytime in the area for the last several years, you’d have noticed that Disney has been letting it die. The Christmas shop and Muppet shop have been closed since COVID. I found this terribly sad. This was once a vibrant and fun area.

You may recall that Disney had made an announcement years ago that The Muppets would have a larger presence in the parks. Even with the Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster being updated to Muppets, I’m still waiting on them to fulfill that promise. I suppose only time will tell.
