The Emperor’s New Groove D23 & Fork n’ Film Events

D23 Gold members can purchase tickets to attend a Fork n’ Film screening of The Emperor’s New Groove this June. It’s the 25th anniversary of this iconic flick. It originally hit theaters on December 15, 2000 and featured the voice acting talents of David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, and Patrick Warburton.

This event combines a fan-favorite movie, and one of my top favorites, with a culinary experience. Not only are you dining and watching, but the food and drinks are inspired by the film’s most iconic moments! Eat the food…the food for the movie, the movie’s food…the food from the movie…the movie’s food.

About Fork n’ Film – “Our innovative concept redefines the boundaries of dining and movie-watching experiences by allowing our guests not just to watch, but also to taste the movies. We curate a multi-course meal inspired by your favorite movies. Each dish is meticulously crafted and served at the exact moment it appears on the screen, offering an unprecedented level of engagement with the movie. We collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team of chefs, venues, and partners to take film-loving foodies on a multi-sensory gastronomic adventure where the boundaries between spectator and participant are blurred. At Fork n’ Film, we believe that films should be more than just watched, they should be lived.” Oh, yeah. It’s all coming together now.

I can tell you that I am heartbroken that none of these events are near me. But I hope you can get to one! If I still lived in Vancouver, WA I would definitely head over to Portland for this. There is only one outside the US, so lucky for you Londoners!
