Pizza Moon – Celestial Park at Epic Universe

Just before I left Epic Universe last night, I had dinner at Pizza Moon in Celestial Park. It’s an early 1900s Victorian theater converted into a spectacular eatery. It is very A Trip to the Moon (Le Voyage dans la Lune) and you will instantly fall in love. Not only is the food delicious, but the ambiance and decor are out of this world.

I was in awe as soon as I walked in. This quick service restaurant is so much more than it looks like from the outside. You’re instantly transported into a whimsical theater and movie.

The dining rooms are awe inspiring with one of them having floor to ceiling windows. The ceilings are celestial.

There are many moving parts in Pizza Moon. Watch the ceilings and walls! Just look at these amazing details at the counters.

Pizza Moon serves pizza, pasta, salads, and desserts. You can find vegetarian, vegan, and gluten sensitive options. Here’s what they had on the menu while I was there.

Lunar Phase Cake – Meyer lemon olive oil cake, limoncello sabayon, blackberries, raspberry crisps

I had a Hala Kahiki Mahina pizza and a Lunar Phase Cake for dessert. Both were super delicious. Not long ago I had an olive oil cake at Maria & Enzo’s in Disney Springs, but I liked the Pizza Moon one better. The pizza is a large portion easily shared between two people. I didn’t have anyone to share with and asked if they had anything I could put the other half of my pizza in to take away. They do not, so be prepared for that. I happened to have a small merchandise bag with me and I put it in there to take home.

Pizza Moon is a dining experience you do not want to sleep on. They have great food and a wondrous atmosphere. Be sure to check it out!
