WDW Cancels Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, H2O Glow Nights, Eat to the Beat Concert Series

Due to the current need for physical distancing, Walt Disney world has cancelled some very popular events. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon, and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival will all be missing this year.

If you’ve already purchased tickets to these events, Disney will be working with you in the coming weeks on refunds.

Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival will begin on July 15. So yay, we still get that! Disney says it’s the longest festival yet. And it’s got a new name for the modified festival, A Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. It doesn’t look like the merchandise will be out until after the Festival starts. But, Flower & Garden merchandise will be available and we’ll see the new Remy topiary in the France pavilion. I’ll be able to get the Tervis cup and trash can salt and pepper shakers I had my eye on!

While the Eat to the Beat concert series will not happen, you will be able to see local Epcot entertainment. The JAMMitors, Mariachi Cobre, and more will perform in the America Gardens Theatre throughout the day.

That brings us to the holiday season. Disney is monitoring the situation and will make a decision on the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Epcot International Festival of the Holidays based on information from government and health officials. I’m crossing my fingers for these events because they’re amazing.
