Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store

Even though Halloween Horror Nights has been cancelled for 2020, Universal Orlando has opened the Tribute Store. It was ready to go before the announcement. I think it should move into a permanent location and feature all the Classic Universal Monsters and HHN tribute merchandise year-round, but what do I know?

I was there on the second day that it was open and the queue to get in was not long. It’s just to the left of the front of the store. It’s a good safety measure because the store consists of rooms that aren’t very large. Social distancing!

There are two rooms this year. Both are heavily themed and you’re going to want to take tons of pictures. They have been going all out and I approve. HHN is by far my favorite event put on by Universal.

Even before you get fully into the store, there are outstanding details. This old paper is just inside the entrance. I know you’re going to be excited about seeing everything, but take the time to appreciate everything.

This is the first room. The Classic Monsters are amazing and should be showcased all the time. Look everywhere including up. There are bubbling jars and moving parts. Also listen to everything.

The second room is all about past HHN events. This year was to have been the 30th anniversary event. I hope they don’t skip it and move to 31 next year, but honor the 30th in 2021. This room is also glorious. Everyone’s favorite icon Jack is front and center.

I saw that there is a new t-shirt in the store today. Hopefully that means that they will continue to add new merchandise while they remain open!
