Halloween isn’t far off and it’s a good time to start thinking about what you want to dress your pet up as. All of the costumes I’ll be highlighting today say they are pet costumes, but all of the models are dogs.

I went in search of costumes on shopDisney, Hot Topic, PetSmart, Target, chewy, Spirit Halloween, and Petco. I did see some of the costumes on multiple sites, sometimes for different prices. Most of them were available in XS-XL, but not all were available in all sizes. I tried to get a good sampling of styles, and different characters and variations. I put a notation on each picture that lets you know where I spotted it. Some of the shopDisney, if not all, can also be found in the parks and shopping districts.

I pretty much went into pet costume overload so you don’t have to! And because I’m all about theme parks, these all relate.

I’m going to break the costumes down by style and then by licensing as best as I can.

These are pet costume harnesses. Some are sold year-round.

These are the pet costume t-shirts. I couldn’t find any on the Universal website, but they do sell Minion and Thing t-shirts in the parks that would be great costumes.

Here are part of the Fab Five, or now the Sensational Six, but I didn’t see all of them. Donald Duck with that duck hair!

These Winnie the Pooh costumes are adorable! Oh, bother!

Let me tell you, there are so many Star Wars pet costumes out there! Each time I thought I’d seen the last unique one…PEW PEW! another one!

No one can ever decide if The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Christmas or Halloween holiday, so I say, “Why not both?” Dual purpose costumes for the win!

I found Pixar pet costumes. How about that Bo Peep and her sheep? I’m sure you could find human costumes to match your pet and go out as a movie!

I didn’t see a Jasmine or Aladdin pet costume, maybe you’ll have better luck. Or you could be Jasmine and Aladdin and your pet could be Genie or Abu!

How about a princess or evil villain? You could match your two pets as Belle and the Beast!

I discovered a few singular Disney characters that didn’t have a match. But how ’bout Underdog?! You never see him!

There are quite a few Marvel pet costumes out there. I saw different variations of a lot of the characters, so you may want to look for the one you like best. Your eyes do not deceive you, there’s even a Deadpool.

The same goes for the DC costumes, lots of variety out there. Be sure to shop around. I found three different Jokers, and more Batmans than I could count.

For some reason, I could only find three of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Where’s the love for Michaelangelo? (Maybe after hours of costume searching I just missed him.)

There’s no place like home. Even though Twister is gone from Universal Studios, we can still appreciate Dorothy.

Scooby Doo! Where are you? Have your family dress up like Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy and put your pets in these costumes!

These were the only two Nickelodeon pet costumes I could find. I was hoping for Rocko or Oblina, too.

There were several dinosaur costumes, but I only saw this one Jurassic World one. Looking for something else to represent the Universal parks? Try a Minion or Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!

Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! These three would be a fantastic bunch if you have at least three pets. I’d add more Ghostbusters if you’ve got even more than that!

And since we’re all still salty about Halloween Horror Nights being cancelled this year because Americans can’t follow the rules and wear masks and follow quarantine rules, I present to you: HORROR COSTUMES. (I know that’s a run-on sentence and I do not care in the slightest. I’m frickin’ salty.)

There were plenty of undersea creatures to be found in the oceans of internet searches. I settled on the licensed Sesame Street characters for SeaWorld. I was surprised to see so many! Of course, Super Grover is the best.
