The Electric Mayhem is performing for one night only, except they can’t be found! Get ready to rock out when The Muppets take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips are ready to rock the house. This newly themed version opens on May 26, 2026.
“With your VIP passes, you’ll be welcomed inside the recording studio, where – wouldn’t you know it – you’ll find The Electric Mayhem cranking out the familiar tunes of Can You Picture That? as they rehearse for their big concert. You’ll be immersed in the story with the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, who’s joined by the finest audio engineers (all penguins, of course). They’re doing their best to convince The Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to their increasingly restless fans, but will it be enough to get the band across town and on stage in time?
Thanks to the newest technological advancements from Muppets Labs, we’ll board a super-powered vehicle in the alleyway just behind Studio C known as the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.)!”
Check out the new posters highlighting The Electric Mayhem’s larger-than-life career.

You’re going to experience celebrity cameos from the queues to the merch shop. You might get to spot Awkwafina, Danny Trejo, Danny Criss, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, Wayne Brady, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.

If you’ve been to the Disney’s Hollywood Studios lately, you’ve probably noticed that the car already has a new Muppet paint job and the giant guitar is being worked on.

As with most attraction or land openings, we can look forward to previews for cast members, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members, and Annual Passholders! More to come from Disney on these.
